While in university, being given the chance to work on any project I chose (within reason) was a huge opertunity. I wanted to use this semester to focus on skills I personally felt I lacked in. These main skills were concept art and the ability to share my thoughts and ideas in an organised as well as sensical manner. As someone who want to tell stories for a living, being able to share my ideas is essential. In all honesty, I am constantly struck with fear whenever I consider creating anything realted to my stories. I become creativly stunted by fear. So this semester was all about pushing my limits as well as creating a starting point for one of my more ambitous stories Melody-Vita.

I see Melody-Vita as an eposidic animated show which revolevs around the premise of music working as a physical energy. The entire world is formed around music as well as each counrty repercenting a diffrent musical genre. As I had a very limited amount of time, I focused on a single character. I dedicated an entire portfolio showing how I eplored as deeply into this creation as possible and how I completed the designs. This portfolio is as much for expressing my ideas as it is for me to look back on and learn how to get my ideas out in the future.
