Show me A storyboard!
ladies, gentlemen, and all those in-between; We have the first storyboard!
I've finished all the rough frames, colour coded them, and added the text from the script that relates to that frame. Now it's over to Kelsey to draw it out in the style of the cartoon. While I was creating the rough frames, I realised certain shots either needed to be added, cut, or amended. So next week's task will be to amend the script, hopefully, get in finalized, then look into getting some voice actors as well as audio.
intrusive thought...
A thought that keeps creeping into my head is "Background music!!!" I feel it will be essential to the professionalism of the product. However, I REALLY want to avoid using the typical royalty-free music. To be honest, I've listened to and used so many royalty-free songs, that now most sound cheesy or very typical to me. Besides, background music should go hand in hand with the timing of the scene. I have made my own digital tracks before, but I feel this is a whole different ball game. I will figure it out, I always do. It's just stress-inducing right now. Right now, let's get the final script.
